I am Veronica a mother of two beautiful children, Janemarie and Alan. Aberchalder was my granny's house in Scotland - and I spent my early childhood growing up in that very special house; hence the name of my cattery. I am now fortunate to live with some wonderful cats in Somerset (England). I show and breed both Black and Blue Persians, all my cats being registered with the G.C.C.F. I am also a member of the Blue Persian Society, Bristol & District Cat Club and the Somerset Cat Club.
I had my first Persian cats back in the 1980's. The first one was Tiger; she was a long haired Tabby. The next one I rescued and she was a long haired Pure Blue. Sadly they have now both passed on. I still miss them, as I miss all those that I have lost. Aberchalder Persians is a small friendly home cattery breeding solid colours and specialising in Pure Blue and Blacks. I am a hobby breeder focusing on the breeding of Blues and Blacks. I started breeding "from scratch'' and worked my way up and have been very proud of my cats and my breeding. I love all my cats and I am fond of many colours but admit to having a real passion for Blue's.
It is my goal to produce cats that are healthy and I am striving to produce top quality Persians with a sweet expression and personality, for showing and breeding, or loving pet homes. The cats have their own area in my home that has plenty of light, fresh air and sunshine, and they are given as much love and attention as possible. Kittens leave my home at no younger than 13 weeks and are fully vaccinated.
